Our client in Irwin, PA is searching for a Maintenance Technician.

Job Description:

Independent and responsible performance of diversified maintenance and repair work requiring specialized training, experience, and skills. Duties include the fully satisfactory performance of maintaining and trouble-shooting equipment in the following areas:
Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on a wide variety of machines and major building systems.
Complete maintenance checklists and inventory lists of Machines, A/C Units, Air compressors, Chillers, Mist/Dust collectors, and Coolant filtration systems.
Implement and carry out preventative maintenance practices.
Oversee requests to vendors for completion of machinery and equipment maintenance items and monitor vendor maintenance while on-site.
Engineer and develop specialized machines, work fixturing, and processes for production purposes (Ex: Retrofits/CNC Conversions)
Implement continuous improvement practices.
Communicate purchase requests with procurement or manager.
Perform equipment downtime and root cause failure analysis.
Develop and implement maintenance practices for new equipment installation and start-up.
Perform repairs to building and grounds such as painting, plumbing, flooring, doors and lighting.
Participate in the development of safe work procedures (i.e.LOTO)
