OpenText/Documentum Tech Lead (Remote)

Overview:

• Tier One Technologies is looking for OpenText/Documentum Tech Lead-SME to support our US Government client.
• This will be a 100% remote Contract-to-Hire position.
• SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
• Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
• Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
• Evaluate existing software solutions to identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee architectural approaches from conception to installation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8-12 years of IT-related professional experience.
• SME level of knowledge in OpenText Documentum Software, Apache Tomcat Environment and Linux/UNIX OS.
• Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies.
• Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns as well as understanding of various coding methods and computer languages.
• Data modeling and database design experience.
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Strong knowledge of Agile Methodologies and SDLC practices.
• Familiarity with Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc).
• Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Problem/Risk Management
• Effective liaison leading technical development teams.
• Strong facilitation skills to effectively lead discussions across multiple groups.
• Must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
• Oral and written communication skills including presentation to management.
• Must be eligible to obtain a sensitive clearance – Position of Public Trust – and may be required to obtain a higher security clearance.
• Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
