Job Description ~ Patient Coordinator (Front Desk)

As a Patient Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported from the moment they walk in. You’ll need to be a self-starter who can manage your responsibilities independently and stay accountable in a dynamic medical setting.Monday – Friday, regular business hours. Required to work occasional weekends and holidays.
How You'll Contribute:- Greet patents and visitors with warmth and professionalism. Providing a high level of customer service with each interaction.
- Handle patient inquires and resolve issues with calm, solution-oriented approach.
- Maintain patient accounts ensuring up-to-date and accurate personal, financial, and insurance information is recorded.
- Provide patients with information about their benefits, insurance coverage, and financial options.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment utilization
- Collaborate with physicians and medical providers to ensure seamless patient care
- Offer timely feedback to team regarding any service failures or patient concerns to ensure quality improvement
The skills and education we need are:
- Minimum 2 years of applicable work experience
- High School diploma required
- Knowledge of insurance, medical billing, and terminology is preferred
- Experience working in OB/GYN, fertility or hospital setting is a plus
- A positive, “can-do” attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of customer service
- Ability to remain composed and efficient in high-pressure situations
- Dependable and self-motivated worker with strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and scheduling software

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.50 per hourExpected hours: 40 per week
