As a caregiver at Cheer Home Care, your role is vital in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. You will provide essential personal care assistance, companionship, and support to help our clients maintain their independence and dignity.
On a typical day, your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Providing medication reminders
- Preparing and serving meals
- Accompanying and supporting clients during appointments and outings
- Engaging in conversation and providing companionship
- Light housekeeping and organization tasks
- Cell phone with internet access
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in caregiving or a similar role is preferred
- Certifications that are preferred but not required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion towards others
- Active Home Care Aide status (Unsure? We can show you how!)
