Anaplan Business Systems Analyst
Overview
WS Development is seeking an Anaplan Business Systems Analyst to assist in supporting and growing the company’s use of Anaplan and other source systems. In this role, you will work closely with a broad range of cross functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, Asset Management, IT, Property Management, and others to plan, design, develop and maintain solutions supporting our financial modeling objectives.Additionally, the position will require collaborating with external professional services and the Internal Projects Team. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with detailed budgeting /reforecasting, systems integrations, and the commercial real estate industry.
The role will also require proficient time management, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role will require in person work from our office at least 3 days per week. Only local candidates will be considered at this time.
Responsibilities- Work in coordination with and report to the Manager of Anaplan Business Analytics.
- Brainstorm Anaplan and business solutions that consider functional needs, technical limitations, and resource availability.
- Model build collaboratively with professional services and cross-functional departments to implement system upgrades.
- Engage with business stakeholders to troubleshoot Anaplan issues, provide user training, and create applicable documentation.
- Support requested Anaplan system inquires to resolve issues and implement enhancement requests.
- Monitor performance of integrations between Anaplan and other related business systems and resolve data integrity issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Anaplan functionality, features, and tools.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong Anaplan model building capabilities with a variety of use cases with focus on FP&A
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical peers.
- Excellent time management skills with strong ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence to conduct live-training and troubleshooting sessions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Ability to build out business requirements from user stories or high-level conversations.
- Ability to implement Anaplan solutions that consider efficiency, functionality, and scalability.
Professional Experience:
- 2+ years of experience building models in Anaplan
- Strong Excel skills related data manipulation
- 3+ years of experience as a financial data analyst
- Technical implementation experience
Education/Certifications:
- Anaplan Level II Model Building required (Level III, Solution Architect, Master Anaplanner a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Statistics, Finance, or related field preferred
