As the VP of Talent Acquisition at Diversicare, you will be at the forefront of shaping the talent pipeline for one of the most respected long-term care providers in the industry. This is your chance to create real, lasting impact by developing innovative hiring strategies for the organization.

You’ll lead the recruiting team and work directly with senior executives and the HR team to ensure we attract the very best talent, helping to elevate the quality of care we provide to thousands of residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage recruitment strategies that support the operational objectives of Diversicare’s 45 skilled nursing centers across five states.
  • Oversee the troubleshooting, configuration, reporting and maintenance of the ATS and HRIS systems, ensuring they meet the needs of high-volume hiring and strategic recruiting initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment partners, including job boards, aggregators, background check providers, and drug screening vendors, ensuring efficient recruitment processes.
  • Create strategies, lead and support recruiting team to effectively source and recruit for leadership positions. Build robust talent pipelines for key roles across the organization and collaborate with senior leadership to ensure leadership needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior and regional leadership on talent acquisition strategies, providing insights on market trends, candidate pipelines, and best practices in recruiting.
  • Implement and monitor performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives. Ensure data integrity within ATS systems and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Enhance the candidate experience by ensuring streamlined processes and a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Talent Acquisition team to deliver exceptional service, foster development, and ensure alignment with Diversicare’s mission and service standards.
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Stay abreast of industry trends and adapt recruitment strategies to maintain a competitive advantage in the long-term care sector.
  • Continuously assess and improve recruitment processes, introducing new tools, techniques, and technologies to improve efficiency and results.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

  • BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; relevant experience in healthcare recruiting required.
  • Minimum of five years in a senior Talent Acquisition leadership role, preferably in long-term care or a healthcare setting.
  • Expertise in managing ATS, including troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining systems for optimal recruitment reporting and functionality.
  • Proven ability to lead high-volume direct care roles as well as leadership-level recruitment initiatives.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with senior and regional leadership as a subject matter expert in recruitment and talent strategy.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies for clinical, leadership, and corporate roles.
  • Knowledge of wage and salary trends, job analysis, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Strong vendor management experience, including ATS, job boards, job aggregators, background check, and drug screen vendors.
  • Proficient in data-driven recruitment strategies, including performance metrics, applicant tracking, and data integrity management.
  • Excellent project management, presentation, and communication skills.
