We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Manager based in San Francisco (Hybrid). In this role, you will play a crucial part in our team by overseeing tax planning, research, and compliance efforts. Your main focus will be to enhance the technical capabilities of managers, seniors, and associates while maintaining outstanding client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance
• Utilize accounting software systems efficiently for tax calculations
• Conduct detailed reviews of federal and state tax returns
• Develop and implement effective tax strategies for our clients
• Guide and mentor managers, seniors, and associates in their technical development
• Leverage ADP - Financial Services for financial management tasks
• Maintain excellent client relationships through effective communication and service
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations
• Use CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax for tax-related tasks
• Oversee the process of entity formation and annual income tax provision.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Tax Manager
• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledgeable in ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with CaseWare is a must
• Strong skills in using CCH ProSystem Fx
• Familiarity with CCH Sales Tax
• Expertise in Annual Income Tax Provision
• Proven track record in Compliance
• Experience in Entity Formation is crucial
