Overview:

We are looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist in our Gentle Dental World office located at 35-30 Francis Lewis Blvd, Queens, New York 11358, United States to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.
This person will handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations including cleaning teeth and examining oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. They also may educate patients on oral hygiene, take and develop x rays, or apply fluoride or sealants.

All aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service and communication skills.

Pay- $57-$60/Hour with monthly production bonus available.

Schedule- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9a-7p and Saturday 9a-4p.

Technology- Laser Technology and Guided Biofilm Technology coming.

Responsibilities:

Essential Responsibilities
  • Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times
  • Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
  • Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
  • Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
  • Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Active Hygiene license for the state you applied, required
