The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other industry regulations, maintains optimal inventory accuracy, and leads a team to achieve efficiency and safety goals.

This is an onsite position in our Garner, NC facility, directly reporting to the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical and commercial packaging regulations.
  • Develop and implement warehouse procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
  • Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize waste or shrinkage.
  • Collaborate with production, customer service, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
  • Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all inventory transactions, shipments, and compliance-related activities.
  • Manage relationships with carriers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and other relevant industry regulations.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills with an ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
  • Required education & experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • In lieu of a degree, 10 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, may be considered.
