Clerk II
Overview:
Titan Florida seeks a detail-oriented and organized Clerk II for our Pennsuco Block facility in Medley, Florida. This position supports operational efficiency for Pennsuco Block, Mangonia, and Ft. Myers, by facilitating communication between the Hub and drivers and ensuring smooth office operations.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities- Ticket Distribution: Manage and distribute commercial, retail, and FOB tickets to drivers promptly and accurately.
- Order Processing: Process customer FOB orders for Pennsuco using SAP as needed to support seamless order management.
- Document Scanning and Indexing: Efficiently scan and index all delivery tickets, bills of lading, and proofs of delivery (PODs) from external and internal vendors into DocuWare.
- Inventory Management: Receive resale items such as bags and lintels into SAP, monitor inventory levels, and initiate purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) as required.
- End-of-Month Support: As needed, assist with monthly inventory checks and reconciliation processes.
- Rail Car Management: Create and release rail car tickets as necessary to ensure timely and accurate logistics.
- Hub Communication: Liaison with the Hub, addressing and resolving any issues related to commercial and retail loads.
General Administration: Answer phone calls, perform general office tasks, and provide administrative support to maintain productivity.
Qualifications:
Qualifications- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience: 1-2 years of job-related experience, particularly clerical or administrative.
- Skills:
- Strong math and computer skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Proficiency in SAP is essential.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
- Office Environment: The role is primarily desk-based and requires frequent computer use for processing orders, managing documents, and performing administrative tasks.
- Interaction with Drivers and Hub Team: Frequent interaction with drivers and coordination with the Hub team is essential, involving regular phone and in-person communication.
- Document Management: Responsibilities include managing and organizing filing systems, scanners, and related office equipment to handle document scanning, indexing, and retrieval.
