Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Epicor Subject Matter Expert (SME) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Epicor ERP systems, including customizations, upgrades, and migrations. They will be responsible for building and maintaining Epicor environments, leading the migration from legacy Crystal Reports to SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and integrating with other platforms such as Sage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective Epicor solutions.
• Configure, customize, and optimize Epicor ERP systems to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Lead the setup and configuration of Epicor environments, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability.
• Manage the migration process from legacy Epicor versions to more recent versions, including data migration and system upgrades.
• Develop and implement strategies for converting Crystal Reports to SSRS, including building backend processes and ensuring seamless integration with Epicor systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients on Epicor-related issues, troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions as needed.
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to design and implement customizations and enhancements to Epicor systems.
• Integrate Epicor ERP systems with other platforms such as Sage, leveraging out-of-the-box reporting tools and custom solutions as necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Epicor ERP technology and best practices, continuously improving knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience working with Epicor ERP systems, with a focus on customization, upgrades, and migrations.
• Strong understanding of Epicor architecture, modules, and functionalities.
• Proficiency in building and configuring Epicor environments, including setup, installation, and optimization.
• Experience with data migration and system upgrades within the Epicor ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of Crystal Reports and SSRS, with hands-on experience in migrating reports from Crystal to SSRS.
• Knowledge of backend processes and systems integration, particularly in the context of Epicor ERP.
• Familiarity with other ERP systems such as Sage, and experience integrating Epicor with third-party platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
