Staff Accountant

We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role involves a variety of accounting tasks, including reconciliation of accounts, preparation of financial reports, and payroll administration. As a Staff Accountant, you'll have a key role in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

• Oversee the full scope of general ledger accounting and reporting for multiple clients.
• Conduct both basic and complex balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Prepare and present financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Ensure subsidiary accounts are balanced by reconciling entries.
• Balance the general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries.
• Handle bank deposits and perform bank reconciliations.
• Administer payroll and generate relevant reports.
• Code payables as required.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize account information and trends to prepare financial reports.
• Manage accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports, and advising management on required actions.
• Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed. • Possess strong skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Experience in managing General Ledger
• Ability to prepare and maintain Journal Entries
• Familiar with Month End Close procedures
• Proficient in using NetSuite software for accounting tasks
• Experience with Oracle for financial management
• Knowledge and experience in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks
• Familiar with SAP for business process management
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
