Your application for the Electronic Design Engineering - Radio Frequency Internship will be considered across all opportunities for the teams listed below:
- The Antenna team applies first-principles for the design, integration test, and production of antenna solutions in a fast paced product development environment. Connectivity is an important feature in all Tesla cars, and aim to further enhance the driving experience by providing access to features that require wireless data usage.
- The Audio Software team is responsible for audio system integration and quality from transducers to software. The team aims to improve the audio quality in all automotive audio features.
- The EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) team works on the product design, simulation, debugging, and testing for EMC for current and next generation vehicle programs and towards Tesla's vision of fully autonomous vehicles. The Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) team focuses in two core functions – product design and validation for EMC. We work closely with different teams like Electrical, Mechanical, vehicle integration, harness, and homologation to achieve quality and schedule targets. For the product design, we are responsible for the aspects of Electromagnetic compatibility in the electrical and mechanical development like filtering, shielding, and ESD protection. In addition, the team covers the EMC validation at the module level and vehicle level for radio noise, ESD, Radiated Emissions, Radiated Immunity, Conducted Emissions, Conducted Immunity, and homologation for regulatory compliance.
- The Radio Turner team works on our on-going Radio Turner product development activities, which encompasses a wide variety of tasks. You will learn and apply the radio turner standards including architecture, hardware, software, and its function.
- The Wireless Connectivity team focuses on developing high quality wireless technologies on various Tesla vehicle platforms. The role involves embedded software design, development and validation of wireless telematics systems across cellular, WiFi, and Bluetooth technologies for Tesla vehicle platforms.
- The Wireless Hardware team helps connect vehicles to users by exploring new technologies such as UWB, WiFi, and Bluetooth. You will be responsible for designing , developing, and testing hardware systems that enable seamless communication between vehicles and users.
- Currently pursuing a Degree in Electromagnetics, Radio Frequency Engineering, Antenna Design, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
