Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join a growing law firm based in San Mateo, California. This role involves supporting attorneys in the daily operation of our busy practice, particularly in the field of complex intellectual property litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the electronic filing system, guaranteeing timely and accurate document management.
• Maintain a comprehensive case calendar, tracking deadlines and updating them as cases progress.
• Proactively monitor deadlines and alert attorneys and teams as needed.
• Manage new case intake and client file maintenance, including recordkeeping and archiving.
• Provide accurate word processing and legal document review support, ensuring citation adherence.
• Possess a working knowledge of court rules and guarantee compliance in all legal submissions.
• Handle confidential client and party materials with utmost discretion.
• Collaborate with attorneys on document production and review processes, acting as a liaison with vendors and review platforms.
• Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to tackle diverse tasks as required.
• Must have at least 3+ years of paralegal experience handling complex litigation.
• Experience in IP highly preferred
