Location: Remote with travel as needed
Navarro Research and Engineering is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to ensure compliance with environmental quality standards for hazardous waste and remediation projects. This position will be responsible for maintaining QA/QC programs, conducting audits, and ensuring regulatory adherence for projects under RCRA, TSCA, and other federal regulations.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement Quality Management Plans (QMPs) and Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs).
- Conduct quality compliance audits, corrective action evaluations, and performance reviews.
- Ensure all deliverables meet EPA and industry standards, with proper documentation of compliance activities.
- Review consultant and contractor QMPs, providing recommendations for process improvements.
- Serve as the point of contact for EPA regional QA/QC reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Assist in quality training programs for staff and subcontractors.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance for environmental programs.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining QA/QC processes for environmental compliance.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in data validation, environmental auditing, and regulatory compliance reporting.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders.
