Staff Nurse - South Elgin

Corbella Clinic seeks a part-time Staff Nurse to perform medical services such as pregnancy testing, ultrasounds (training provided) and STI testing and provide patient follow-up care.

Candidates must be willing to be trained in limited diagnostic ultrasound exams which may involve some travel.

1. Professional:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current IL licensure.
• Open to Limited OB Ultrasound training. Corbella Clinic can facilitate ultrasound training.
• Basic computer skills, organizational aptitude, high attention to procedure and detail.

1. Educational:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related knowledge and experience.
• Experience in a non-profit or community-based organization, such as a pregnancy resource center or counseling, social service, or family service provider is desirable but not required.

1. Personal:

• Able to empathize with those in distress and give practical assistance.
• Client focused and ability to engage confidently in a non-directive, non-judgmental manner with all client demographics and situations.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

1. Relational:

• Ability to work as a team member, seek consultation when needed, work independently and accept responsibility.
