We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support our client's finance team in handling essential Accounts Payable (AP) functions. This role is ideal for someone with a background in AP processing and familiarity with the education sector’s financial needs.

The successful candidate will join a supportive team, ensuring smooth operations within the AP function.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Management: Pull invoices manually from the inbox, organize them, and ensure they are accurately recorded in the system.
Purchase Order (PO) Matching: Match invoices with corresponding purchase orders, validating details to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Basic Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations to verify payment data, identify discrepancies, and ensure accounts remain balanced.
Data Management: Use Excel for data management tasks, including generating reports, sorting data, and analyzing account information.
Proficiency in Account Coding is required for the role.
Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is essential.
Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.
Ability to perform general Accounting Functions is expected.
Prior experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is beneficial.
