Job Description
  • Develop and execute audit plans to ensure compliance with consumer regulations
  • Identify and assess risks and controls within business processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to address compliance issues
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of audit documentation
  • Manage and mentor junior audit team members
  • Lead compliance training initiatives
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry regulations and standards
  • Report on audit findings and provide recommendations to management

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • 3+ years of internal audit experience in the banking industry
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CAMS
  • Strong knowledge of consumer compliance regulations in financial services
  • Proven experience in developing and executing audit plans
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
