Robert Half - Warehouse Team Lead

This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing a team of warehouse workers to achieve operational goals.
• Coordinating and overseeing receiving, storage, and distribution operations.
• Ensuring the warehouse consistently meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Complying with all regulatory requirements and company policies, and ensuring team members do the same.
• Conducting regular audits of warehouse operations and implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Training and mentoring warehouse staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Assisting with the planning and monitoring of warehouse inventory.
• Creating and presenting reports on warehouse performance and efficiency.
• Utilizing skills such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word to manage and track warehouse operations.
• Handling customer service duties including answering inbound calls, data entry, and scheduling appointments. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
• Experience in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to address customer queries and complaints effectively
• Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and promptly
• Experience in scheduling appointments, organizing schedules and managing time effectively
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Ability to adhere to safety procedures and regulations in the warehouse

• Previous experience in a similar warehouse team lead role would be an advantage.
