Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Manager is vital in implementing the Quality Management System (QMS) by monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on quality activities. This role aligns with the QMS Manual to enhance customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
Job Functions:
- Oversee quality-related activities, including:
- Inspection
- Internal Auditing
- Calibration
- Failure Analysis
- Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)
- Reliability Analysis and Stress Testing
- Non-Conforming Material Management
- Raw Material and Finished Product Qualification
- ESD Control
- RoHS Compliance
- Schedule and report on internal audits and quality initiatives; present summaries at Management Review meetings.
- Support subcontractor qualifications and performance evaluations.
- Assess the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Analyze inspection yield data and provide customer support, including surveys and RMA assistance.
- Drive systems implementation for ISO 9001/AS9100 registration.
- Promote SPC, Lean methodologies, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Monitor product reliability metrics and verify training effectiveness.
- Approve Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and control nonconforming products until resolved.
