Position Overview:

IES Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Microsoft Dynamics Business Analyst to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in driving the successful implementation, customization, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics solutions across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, experience with Microsoft Dynamics platforms, and excellent problem-solving skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders to identify and document business needs, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • System Analysis and Design: Analyze existing business processes and recommend Microsoft Dynamics solutions to streamline operations.
  • Configuration and Customization: Collaborate with technical teams to configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics modules to meet business requirements.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test cases to ensure solutions meet business needs and maintain system integrity.
  • Training and Support: Provide end-user training and ongoing support to ensure effective adoption of Microsoft Dynamics solutions.
  • Project Coordination: Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and third-party vendors during implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with Microsoft Dynamics updates and industry best practices to recommend process improvements.
  • Specific Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics (365 or earlier versions).
  • Experience in the construction or related industries is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, CRM, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities.
