Accounts Receivable Clerk

You will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise records of customer credit
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and disputes
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed
• Collaborate with Branch Managers and Sales Representatives to update customer special pricing
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with the Accounts Receivable team, customers, Territory and Branch Managers, and sales staff
• Update existing customer accounts and set up new ones, including processing credit applications
• Complete other Accounts Receivable tasks as needed, such as processing credit memo requests, scanning delivery tickets and other customer documents, and billing for leases and lost cylinders
• Compile various reports detailing customer payments, orders, and invoices as needed
• Handle incoming customer phone calls and perform necessary research to identify and resolve issues such as short payments, missing invoices and customer POs, pricing discrepancies, and cylinder balance issues. • Previous experience in the Wholesale Distribution industry preferred
• Proven skills in Account Reconciliation
• Extensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in Billing procedures
• Demonstrated ability in Cash Applications
• Experience in Cash Collections
• Familiarity with Commercial Collections
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with NetSuite software would be an advantage
