Alexandria - Office Services Coordinator

Overview:

As an Office Service Coordinator, you will provide administrative and clerical support to a department or organizational unit. This is an on-site position at our Herndon VA headquarters working 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities:

YOUR IMPACT

The essential functions of this position include:

  • Supports office administrative functions and processes
  • Assists with planning and coordinating office–wide processes such as space planning and event setup with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Place orders for office equipment, supplies, and provisions
  • Processes mail, invoices, employee expense report, reimbursement, and petty cash
  • Provide backup for receptionist, phone coverage, or assist HR activities such as onboarding, interview coordination, and other special projects.
  • Assist with company car reservation process
  • Handle routine questions
  • Performs miscellaneous clerical tasks, such as filing, mailing, faxing, and typing
  • Scan documents to appropriate personnel
  • Embrace and implement new procedures
  • Perform other duties, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma
  • Previous Office Service Coordinator experience required
  • Requires knowledge of standard office equipment, including software such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

POSITION SPECIFICS

The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $21.63 and $28.85 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
