About You
We’re seeking a result-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as our Process Engineering Technician. Based out of our Torrington Connecticut location, you will collect and analyze data to improve production efficiencies, and monitor new product production by providing engineering support in large-scale manufacturing, analyzing results, and adjusting operational procedures accordingly.Also, by performing experiments under the guidance of Process Engineers
In addition, you will:
- Record and maintain experiment trial and test results by accurately keeping and updating laboratory notebooks as required by company policies
- Develop tooling for engineering purposes, and production equipment by collaborating with Process Engineers and tooling fabrication resources
- Optimize manufacturing processes by modifying operating procedures and documenting changes as production is designed, and by supporting engineering tasks to carry out process validation activities.
- Drive to resolve internal and external audit findings by working with cross-functional teams to resolve audit findings, proactively identify, and bring to resolution, additional areas for improvement and ensure sign-off from all cross-functional areas.
- Support case management (nonconformances resolution) and increase customer satisfaction, loyalty, and advocacy by supporting Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA’S) to resolve customer complaints and improve operational efficiency.
- Track and analyze data by following batch recipes and procedures and utilizing laboratory mixing to convert raw materials into targeted final products
- Monitor the process risk in new product development by participating in the development of FMEA’s and control plans.
- Manage safe practices and standards by supporting engineering efforts to resolve safety issues, maintaining full compliance with Dymax and industry safety protocols, and reporting in a timely manner any occurrence that may diminish the safety integrity of the company.
Requirements
You should have:
- Associate degree or higher, in a science, is preferred.
- Credentials in continuous improvement management preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring and fluid flow paths schematics preferred
- Proficiency in enterprise software, JD Edwards E-1 desirable, SolidWorks preferred
- May be exposed to hazardous chemicals in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience in researching, preparation, testing in a chemical manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience in designing and developing tooling for manufacturing
- Detail orientation and strong analytical skills. Motivated and self-starter, able to handle working under challenging timelines as business needs.

Salary Range: $25-$36 per hour
Our company takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities.The base salary range represents the low and high end of our company's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of our company's total compensation packages for employees.
