Web Design and Maintenance - Journeyman

Summary:
The Web Design and Maintenance – Journeyman shall support and maintain development and testing of web-based portals hosted by the Marine Corps Enterprise
Network (MCEN) across three security domains: Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router (NIPR), Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR), and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS). This position is located in Quantico, VA.
Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage space/storage requirements for each instance (hubs, tenants, and sites).
- Develop and test custom web parts, libraries and lists while managing site permissions.
- Develop and maintain custom workflows, utilizing Visio and SharePoint Designer, and Microsoft Power Apps.
- Utilize Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Java Scripting and JQuery to manipulate the Document Object Model (DOM) and customize pages using Client-Side Rendering.
- Provide technical assistance in the management of software and licenses.
- Provide graphic support (limited to the manipulation of existing images).
- Setup and implement DOD selected collaboration tools including Microsoft SharePoint, Defense Collaboration Services, Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Teams, and PowerBI.

Qualifications:
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge in web design principles and practices and training and experience with the following software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, and Dreamweaver or other integrated development environment.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and frameworks.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and best practices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid collaboration skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus minimum 3 years of related work experience
- In lieu of this requirement, 12 years total work experience in the specific task OR a bachelor's degree plus 8 years total work experience in the specific task may be substituted.
- Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level I certification.
- MUST have strong experience with SharePoint Developer.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Task may require off-site support and periodic CONUS and OCONUS travel.
- Must have an ACTIVE DoD Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with web analytics tools.
