We are searching for an Accountant, Assoc on behalf of our client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. The person who can perform accounts payable role, who has SAP experience and would be able to post NON-PO invoices.
Location: Houston, TX. downtown
Some key responsibilities include:- Process high volume of invoices non-PO in SAP.
- Maintain high level of data integrity by consistently updating vendor information in the system accurately.
- Respond to all vendor and internal inquiries regarding invoices and check requests.
- Maintain good communication with vendors and upper management.
- Assist Finance and Accounting Team with month-end closing.
- Prepare monthly accruals and journal entries.
- SAP knowledge a must.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Detailed-oriented person with strong organizational and time management skills.
Some college preferredExperience: 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
