Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and support mechanical systems used in semiconductor and thin film manufacture.
- Work with local vendors and manufacturers to have parts manufactured to specification.
- Collaborate with automation, electrical, and/or software engineers to ensure mechanical systems are compatible with electrical and control system.
- Document system assembly, design, use, and tests performed.
- Collaborate with operations and process engineers to gather feedback, and develop training plan and documentation.

Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, studying mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience with iterative design, manufacture, assembly, and mechanical systems.
- Strong experience with SolidWorks or Siemens NX CAD programs.
- Strong experience making mechanical drawings, GD&T, and design for manufacturing.
- Willingness to work with external vendors and suppliers.
- Self-starter able to think and act independently to translate general objectives into tangible results, with a record of delivering successful results on schedule.
- Excellent communication and ability to work well in both team and solo environments with people at all levels.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with FDM 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
- Knowledge of electromechanical actuators including motors and solenoids.
- Proficiency in basic electronics and circuit concepts.
- Basic understanding of computer, microcontroller, or PLC programming.
