Nick Corieri with Robert Half is looking for a Staff Accountant to join a small CPA firm with a great culture. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate of Accounting or someone with a couple of years experience looking to transition to public accounting.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow and learn within a small team, with minimal overtime required during our busy season.
Responsibilities:
- Handle bookkeeping and account reconciliation tasks efficiently
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes
- Utilize QuickBooks for managing and processing financial transactions
- Assist with income tax preparation to ensure compliance with tax laws
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial standards and regulations
- Continually update skills and knowledge in the accounting field to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Possess a minimum of one year of experience in a Staff Accountant role or recently graduated with a 4-year Accounting degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable
- Proficient in Tax Preparation and Income Tax Preparation
- Experience in Bookkeeping is essential
