Software Engineer I/II IT Cloud M365 (Entry Level)

Overview:

Electric Boat Information Technology (EBIT) has an opening in End User Services group at Groton.

Responsibilities of these roles within EBIT D604 include:

• Experience utilizing Microsoft Power Platform with integrations to M365 Suite
• Development of sustainable, innovative and cost effective business solutions in support of Electric Boat IT initiatives including but not limited to M365 migration/implementation
• Providing technical guidance and EB project management and oversight in support of IT service vendor project efforts
• Providing technical and administrative IT support for EB end users and coordination of IT service delivery as necessary
• Investigation of new technologies to deliver effective tools to the Electric Boat workforce

This position is located in Groton, CT.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
• Programming / Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python
• 0 - 4 years of related experience (this is an Entry Level position)

Preferred:

• 2 to 3 years of experience with M365 migration/implementation
• Experience with ServiceNow and IT Service Management (ITSM) / Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
• Ability to research and propose technical solutions to support business requirements
• The ability to work independently and as a member of functional work teams
• Effectively communicate at technical and non-technical levels
