We are currently seeking a candidate to join the Amazon Live Sports Sales (LSS) Pricing & Planning team. You will be joining as we continue to expand our sports offerings beyond Thursday Night Football (TNF) into NBA, Nascar, WNBA, NWSL, and beyond.
You will be part of an innovative, fast-moving team focused on analyzing, strategizing, and reporting on ad revenue and performance data to help drive results against the premier sports property in the industry, while also supporting advancement to our process, systems, reporting, and operations capabilities.
You will work closely with the LSS sales, planning, and leadership teams as well as the Operations, Inventory, Product, Research, and Project teams to help create and deploy efficient process, best practices, requirements, and roadmaps for operations excellence in the seasons and sports to come.

This role is part of the Global Advertising Sales organization and based in NYC.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop granular revenue and performance reporting capabilities
  • Analyze and strategize on granular data sources such as advertiser working dollars, property inventory management, marketplace, pricing, category, agency/advertiser rollups and shoulder/halo opportunities
  • Create and develop an Ad Analytics organization to drive the performance, strategy and monetization of a variety of Amazon properties
  • Develop models and strategy to manage liability/delivery across our various sports seasons
  • Develop processes to efficiently distribute and notify core stakeholders of required actions based on analysis and/or performance-based data
  • Create and deploy scenario modelling capabilities (canned and ad hoc) in terms of markets, pricing, inventory management, category, program formats, DAI and automation-based capabilities
  • Become a subject matter expert in terms of the sports and properties you would be overseeing: data, requirements and system enhancements needed to optimize analytics and reporting
  • 5+ Years relevant professional experience in media/digital analytics and reporting
  • Deep understanding of the digital/tv media marketplace, including upfronts, holding company/agency relationships
  • Proven track record of leading, building and scaling organizations and processes
  • Proven track record of training and developing teams
  • Superior Excel skills
  • Experience with data modelling and visualization tools
  • Comfort with large data sets
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to present to senior level sales management- Major media company or publisher side experience preferred
  • Understanding of Salesforce/CRM tools and workflow
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in new and undefined spaces
  • Ability to create new and innovative solutions and processes based on customer feedback and technology capabilities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $61,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $131,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
