ULD Control Coordinator
Overview:
This position is responsible for the provision of ULDs and ULD-related material for all flights and Atlas customers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure ULDs and related equipment are in place for all flying across all Business segments.
- Monitor and respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Monitor stock at all stations. Arrange logistics of pallets, nets, and straps for all flights where applicable.
- Monitor AIMS at all times for new flights, AOGs and schedule changes that potentially impact ULD flow in the Network
- Update ULD Tracking System and other Tracking Programs as required
- Gain knowledge of the AAWW ULD Section of Weight and Balance Manual (WBM).
- Keep cost and sustainability in mind when supporting the operation.
- Adapt to all changes in the operation and support on a 24/7 basis
- Collaborate with stations, handlers, and vendors worldwide
- Gain expertise of ULD and related equipment used by AAWW
- Demonstrate familiarity of ULD types utilized throughout the industry.
- Demonstrate knowledge of loading capabilities on aircraft operated by AAWW.
Qualifications:
- BA in Aviation required or equivalent airline operations experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in airline operations
- Must be knowledgeable in all areas of ground and ULD operations
Skills:
- Ability to work in high pressure, extremely time-sensitive environments.
- Ability to work dynamic schedules with 24/7 availability.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a team-based environment
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks and be able to complete difficult matrices to ensure all tasks are followed through from start to finish
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to understand all aspects of Ground and Cargo Ops including Loadmaster, HAZMAT, deicing, fueling, catering, and security
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Salary Range: $52,500-$71,000
