Overview:The Inventory Control Agent I is responsible for overseeing and coordinating inventory in various facilities across AIT's warehouse network including Agent Partner locations. They coordinate inbound and outbound dock appointments for receiving and shipping freight and ensure that products are handled, loaded/unloaded and stored per our clients SLA.
The Inventory Control Agent also supports the claims process, returns, OS&D and other inventory related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems to track and report daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts
- Adjusting quantities based on results of physical inventory
- Answer inquiries regarding order status, availability, and required dates. Track returns inbound volume and coordinate linehauls back to vendor
- Investigate root cause of inventory discrepancies and work with Supervisor to correct
- Pull inventory reports from WMS reporting to identify updates required in WMS
- Develop and maintain relations with AIT Station and Agent Partners
- Respond and action all inventory inquiries via email, phone and Freshdesk
- Serve as liaison for client on any inventory update requests
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Qualifications: Education
- High School Diploma (Required)
- 0-3 years experience in Inventory Control (Required)
- Microsoft office suite Low
- Warehouse Management System Low
- Xcelerator Low
- AS400 Low
