Network Systems Engineer (Expert)

Overall Assignment Description:

Expert Network Engineers plan and develop telecommunications solutions involving computer and communications equipment. They analyze network alternatives and develop recommendations for improvements.

Duties include:

• Analyzes, designs, tests, and evaluates network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide
• area networks (WAN), Internet, intranet, satellite, and other data communications systems.
• Performs network modeling, analysis, and planning.
• Oversees the work of Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level contractor Network Systems Engineers.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or (equivalent (18+)) Expert level work experience as a Cloud Architect.
• Expert experience in cloud-based systems architecting.
• One or more Cloud Certifications with AWS, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle and Google
• Networking Experience via Cisco Certified Networking Administrator – Cloud,
• Operating System Experience: Linux (RHEL/ROCKY) and WINDOWS (Server/Desktop)

Desired:

• Previous working experience in government or industry, within Cloud Architect profession.
• Experience architecting solutions using structured and unstructured Big Data.
• Experience architecting solutions using Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
• Experience architecting solutions using Model Based Systems Engineering.

Clearance:

• TS/SCI is required
