My client in Boulder is seeking a Property Accountant to join their stable and tenured accounting team in Boulder. As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of a diverse property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate accounting, CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliation, and hands-on experience with real estate ERP systems such as Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or a similar.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities for a portfolio of properties.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions related to real estate operations.
- Perform detailed CAM reconciliations, including the analysis of expenses and preparation of reconciliation statements.
- Work closely with property managers and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Generate and analyze financial reports for property performance.
- Provide insights into financial trends and variances.
- Utilize real estate ERP systems such as Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar for efficient and accurate financial management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate accounting.
- Experience with CAM reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in real estate ERP systems (Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar).
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus, but relevant experience will be considered.
