IS Technical Specialist: II (Intermediate)

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing systems based on user specifications, and providing technical assistance in addressing hardware or software problems.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user specifications and design systems accordingly
• Develop systems to meet user needs and specifications
• Provide technical and consultative support on complex technical matters
• Resolve hardware and software problems with in-depth knowledge of technical tools available for systems development and support
• Maintain knowledge of technical industry trends and apply them as necessary
• Provide technical assistance and support in solving hardware or software problems
• Utilize skills such as SQL, Oracle, REST API, Framework, JavaBeans, React, JSP, Maven, Java Development, Spring Boot, WebSphere, and Spring MVC
• Contribute to specific projects as a project leader when required
• Assist in identifying training needs and provide training to less experienced staff when necessary
• Support workstation with computer hardware and software problems. • Possesses proficiency in SQL and Oracle
• Demonstrates expertise in JavaBeans and Java Development
• Has experience with REST API, SOAP APIs and Spring Boot
• Familiarity with RxJS, React and Spring MVC is required
• Proficient in Maven, Servlets, and JSP
• Has knowledge of computer hardware and can provide technical assistance
• Experience with workstation support and troubleshooting software problems
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is a plus
• Ability to understand and write specifications
• Experienced in deployments and framework
• Knows how to work with WebSphere
