A busy company in the Parsippany area is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their growing organization. This Full Charge Bookkeeper will get the chance to join a growing team that has an excellent work/life balance and offers a flexible hybrid working schedule. This Full Charge Bookkeeper will report directly into the CFO. The ideal Full Charge Bookkeeper will have 5+ years of accounting experience and possess strong Excel skills (pivot table and vlookups proficiency). Responsibilities of this Full Charge Bookkeeper will include but not be limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the management and processing of accounts payable, including expense report reconciliations and bank wire transfers
- Handling all aspects of the full life cycle accounts receivable
- Conducting regular reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
- Maintaining records on 1099s
- Assisting in the preparation of year-end audits & tax filings
- Ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
- Managing the daily matching of bank feed transactions
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeping role
- Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
