Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director

This role is critical in maintaining accurate payroll records and developing effective payroll processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, which includes salaries, garnishments, taxes, benefits, and other deductions.
• Manage the payroll staff, encompassing the hiring, training, and daily workflow supervision.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and adhere to best practices.
• Conduct regular audits by supplying necessary records and documentation, and develop internal audit procedures.
• Maintain and review payroll processing systems to guarantee accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle payroll updates such as new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive records and reports of all payroll transactions.
• Assist the Shared Services team with special projects as needed.
• Recommend updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures when necessary.
• Process bi-weekly payroll for over 2000 employees using ADP Workforce Now.
• Payroll management experience required.
• Prior experience in processing bi-weekly payroll
• Knowledge of payroll compliance is crucial
• Previous experience in managing payroll for over 1000 employees is required
• Demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of payroll
• Certification as a Detail Oriented Payroll Compliance is a plus
