Deputy Program Manager

Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively to execute the program(s) to achieve technical, cost, and schedule program program/contract requirements.
- Identify and solve problems and willingness to work in a dynamic environment
- Identify and address program risks and impacts through a systematic, proactive, approach to risk management that identifies and documents risks and manages mitigations plans to resolve potential problem issues across all levels of the program.
- Lead customer/continuous improvement projects
- Understand how to calculate SLAs and apply them to hold team accountable to meeting contract requirements. Monitor program performance metrics (SLAs)
- Perform analysis to support forward-looking decision-making based on data analytics
- Management of program governance processes and deliverables to support customer and internal program requirements, status reviews, reporting and managing presentation material/meeting minutes
- Collaborating with senior business and technical leaders, and peers (PMs, DPMs, etc.) in the Platform Services Business Unit Program Management Organization (PMO) to help develop a strategic vision and success plan for the PMO organization
- Subcontractor interactions/management/reporting, oversee performance of various subcontractors
- Work closely with the Program Manager, Operations Director and their teams in meeting or exceeding departmental goals and performance KPIs
- Work with leadership to identify improvements and provide plan of action on improvements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Logistics Management, Business Management preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in project management
- 3+ years of experience in logistics management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent customer service skills
- U.S. Citizenship is required for the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
- Ability to travel 10% every other month to Northern Virginia for customer meetings
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Understanding of CMMS ticketing systems and field maintenance
