We are in search of a Financial Analyst to join our team located in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be expected to analyze financial data, prepare reports, forecast trends, and assist in decision-making processes. This position is part of the finance team and will contribute significantly to meeting our financial goals.
This role is a contract to permanent placement role.
Responsibilities:- Analyze and interpret financial data to assist in the decision-making process
- Prepare regular financial statements and reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial performance and provide insights to senior management
- Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and long-term financial plans
- Build and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing financial performance analysis
- Extract and consolidate financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Monitor costs and identify potential areas for cost reduction or process improvements
- Ensure all financial practices comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support key business decisions.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analyst role or similar position
- Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and Financial Services
- Good understanding and experience with CRM and Crystal Reports
- Strong skills in Data Mining Techniques
- Solid knowledge of Accounting Functions and Accrual Accounting
- Experience in Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial data and present insights clearly
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
