Accounts Payable Clerk

The opportunity offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire accounts payable process
• Process invoices accurately, ensuring correct coding
• Handle regular check runs and bank reconciliations
• Maintain and update customer credit records
• Resolve any customer inquiries related to accounts payable
• Manage data entry tasks related to accounts payable
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial record keeping and reporting
• Assist in payroll processing when necessary.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) with a strong understanding of its application in the manufacturing context.
• Experience with regular check runs, ensuring the timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Knowledge in coding invoices and assigning them to the correct cost centers.
• Skilled in data entry, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in invoice processing, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of advanced formulas and data analysis tools.
• Experience in processing payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations, verifying and correcting data as necessary.
