Tool Maker 2nd shift
We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, and maintaining precision tools and equipment used in the manufacturing industry.
**Duties:**- Perform Preventive Maintenance
- Perform Corrective Maintenance
- 5’s on tooling area
- Perform Preventive Maintenance according to plan of maintenance.
- Control of spare parts of injection tools
- Knowledge & ability for technical and high gloss polish
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to weld MIG, TIG, and STICK
- Ability to operate shop equipment mill, lathe, grinder and hand tools
- Read and understand blueprints, electrical and hydraulic diagrams
- Adhere to all plant safety requirements and procedures
- Understand and follow Quality requirements.

- Advisable training/skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Technical or University degree is a plus
- Knowledge in Maintenance and Injection Mold Tooling
- 1-year experience in Maintenance area.
- Knowledge of welding-MIG, TIG, and STICK
- Shop Equipment: Mill, Lathe, Grinder, Drill Press, Electrical 24V DC,110-240 VAC, 3 Phase Hydraulics, Pneumatics

Responsibilities
Candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining precision tools and equipment used in the manufacturing industry.
The essential functions of this role include:- working in a smoke free environment
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 7 hours at one time
- working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
- working weekends
- MIG Welding (2 years of experience is preferred)
- TIG Welding (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Stick Welding (1 year of experience is preferred)
- Lathe operation (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Drill Press operation (1 year of experience is preferred)
- 3 Phase Hydraulics (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Pneumatics (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Injection Mold Tooling (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Blueprint Reading (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Preventative Maintenance (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Corrective Maintenance (2 years of experience is preferred)
