Were seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as part-time Childcare Assistants for our Before and/or After School Programs at 565 Union Avenue in New Windsor, NY.

PAY: $15.50 per hour

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

JOB CONSISTS OF:

Support the Lead Teacher with hands-on activities using our Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering a wide range of areas from fitness to STEAM, academic exploration, arts, and more! Plus, help students with their homework.
Create a fun, safe, and engaging environment where kids can flourish. Be the role model theyll admire and look up to every day.
Keep parents and families updated through the Playground App, sharing those special moments and updates.
Stay informed and compliant by following OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and the host schools rules.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 18 years of age or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
While 1 year of experience working with children under 13 is a plus, its not a dealbreaker we value potential and enthusiasm!
Be prepared to pass a full background check, including fingerprinting, references, and SEL & SCR clearance through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services.
Youre medically fit to perform all job responsibilities and free from communicable diseases, including TB, with documentation from a licensed physician within the past year.
Youre warm, friendly, and upbeat, with exceptional people skills whether youre interacting with kids, parents, or team members. Youre professional, dependable, and punctual.

Youre physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and keep up with kids throughout the day.
