Accounting Manager

This contract role also involves training staff on accounting processes and procedures, and using various software systems such as NetSuite and Avalara.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounting staff and ensure efficient function of the team
• Manage full cycle accounts payable to maintain financial accuracy
• Handle month-end close tasks including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliation, and account analysis
• Train staff on accounting processes and procedures to ensure understanding and compliance
• Utilize software systems such as NetSuite and Avalara to streamline accounting functions - systems integrations experience is key.
• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
• Manage sales tax obligations to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Extensive knowledge of Accounting Functions is necessary.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential.
• Ability to handle Month End Close tasks.
• Strong skills in Account Reconciliation are needed.
• Proficiency in handling Sales Tax is necessary.
• Knowledge of NetSuite and Avalara software is a must.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
