Summary:

Evanhoe and Associates is seeking a highly knowledgeable Asset Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop and implement asset management solutions for Veterans Affairs facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in asset management processes, systems, and strategies, and will play a critical role in optimizing asset lifecycle management across the organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage asset management solutions for Veterans Affairs facilities.
  • Provide expert guidance on asset lifecycle management, including procurement, utilization, and disposition.
  • Ensure that all asset management strategies align with organizational goals and federal regulations.
  • Lead the development of asset tracking, reporting, and auditing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current asset management processes and recommend improvements.
  • Train and mentor teams on best practices for asset management and ensure consistent application of policies.
  • Oversee the integration of asset management tools and software solutions to enhance data management and decision-making.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure asset management practices are effective and optimized.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 14 years of experience in asset management or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field preferred. Additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven expertise in asset management best practices, tools, and systems.
  • Strong understanding of federal regulations related to asset management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Prefer prior VA experience
  • Possess and maintain an active Public Trust with the United States Department of Veteran Affairs.
