Attorney/Lawyer - Dallas
A reputable Boutique law firm based in Dallas, TX has an opening via Robert Half for a Litigation Attorney licensed in Texas. This Attorney position is working directly with the Managing Shareholder and supporting the firm's top clients. At least three years’ experience working in commercial litigation as an attorney is required, and experience with insurance defense or personal injury defense is ideal, though any attorney with Texas civil defense experience will be considered.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be capable of handling all aspects of the litigation process, specifically drafting motions, taking and defending oral depositions, preparing and responding to discovery, preparing responsive pleadings and evaluation of potential liability in matters where a lawsuit has been filed.This attorney will be joining a firm that prides itself on their great work environment and high-quality work product. Requirements:
- Licensed Attorney in good standing with the state bar of Texas
- 3+ years Litigation experience
- Solid understanding of the litigation process
- Previous experience drafting motions and taking depositions
- Insurance Defense or Construction Defect experience
- Strong legal writing skills
