Digital Project Manager

Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a project manager for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC!

This position is a contract-to-hire hybrid opportunity!

This role is pivotal to ensure successful project delivery, client satisfaction, and effective communication between stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Scoping & Planning: Lead the scoping, planning, and execution of various website development projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
• Client & Developer Liaison: Act as the primary translator between clients and developers. Communicate technical requirements and project progress to clients in an accessible manner while accurately relaying client needs and feedback to the development team.
• Project Management: Manage multiple website projects concurrently, overseeing all phases of project life cycles, from initiation through delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
• Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate regular status updates with both internal teams and clients, ensuring clear and transparent communication throughout the project.
• Quality Control: Review project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards, client expectations, and technical requirements before deployment.
• Timeline & Budget Management: Develop and manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting deadlines for quick-turn projects.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively identify potential roadblocks and work with both the client and development team to resolve issues before they affect project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Website Project Management: Proven experience in managing website development projects, ideally within a quick-turn, waterfall environment. Ability to scope, plan, and execute a variety of web projects with different complexities and requirements.
• Technical Understanding: Ability to understand web development processes, technologies, and tools to effectively communicate with developers and clients. You don’t need to code but should have the technical literacy to navigate conversations about website architecture, integrations, and features.
• Client-Facing Experience: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and manage their expectations.
• Multi-Project Management: Experience juggling multiple projects with quick turnaround times while maintaining high standards of delivery. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to shift priorities as needed.
• Balanced Approach: Ability to manage projects with the precision of an agile process without the long timelines associated with multi-year, large-scale initiatives.
• Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally, liaising with designers, developers, and other teams to deliver project outcomes effectively.
