Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to manufacture RxD dispersions. The Production Operator must be responsible to perform all manufacturing activities within all EHS, quality, and corporate guidelines on a right-first-time basis. In addition, the Production Operator will perform routine manufacturing cleanouts and equipment changeovers, monitor in process and post batch data, and operate the process control systems to effectively run the plant.A strong understanding of the process chemistry and equipment, including potential problem analysis, is critical to ensuring high quality dispersion is produced in a safe and cost effective manner.
The Production Operator accomplishes these goals while striving to maintain an atmosphere of involvement, continuous improvement, EHS, and right-first-time manufacture within the operations team. This position reports to the Work Station Manager for RxD.The Production Operators will work rotating shifts to support 24/7 manufacturing. In addition to the listed responsibilities, the position may be required to perform other duties upon request from management.
