We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Lab Technician in the education industry at a university located in Baltimore, Maryland. As a Lab Technician, your primary role will involve assisting students with their projects, ensuring the lab is running smoothly, and maintaining a strong understanding of various technologies.
Responsibilities- Assist students with their projects, with a focus on software packages for phishing
- Maintain an active presence in the lab to provide immediate assistance when needed
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, iOS Apps, and Linux Technologies
- Help students understand and apply concepts of Security+
- Maintain a proactive approach to learning and staying updated in the field
- Utilize networking skills to enhance lab operations and student understanding
- Ensure the lab is properly equipped with necessary computer hardware and backup technologies
- Handle and troubleshoot issues related to Apple Devices
- Use AB Testing approaches to evaluate the effectiveness of various teaching methods and technologies
- Manage and update the Active Directory as required. • Possess technical proficiency in Cisco Technologies.
- Demonstrable experience with Citrix Technologies.
- Strong understanding and application of Cloud Technologies.
- Proficiency in creating and managing iOS Apps.
- Solid experience with Linux Technologies.
- Ability to conduct AB Testing effectively.
- Experience in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory.
- Proficiency in using and maintaining Apple Devices.
- Knowledge of Backup Technologies, with the ability to implement them in a lab setting.
- Strong understanding of Computer Hardware, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair as necessary.
