Accounts Payable Clerk

This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work closely with internal teams.

• Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices and payments promptly
• Collaborate with procurement teams and carriers to streamline processes
• Ensure the accuracy and correctness of documents, reaching out internally or externally if discrepancies are identified
• Navigate and manage load software and paperwork receiving website
• Organize and manage data files related to customer and carrier accounts
• Ensure completion of all tasks and manage necessary follow-ups
• Handle miscellaneous administrative duties
• Communicate efficiently and respectfully with carriers and factoring companies to resolve issues
• Manage problem resolution for carriers’ accounts receivable departments • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP).
• Experience with check runs and coding invoices.
• Strong data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Prior experience in invoice processing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
