We are on the lookout for a meticulous Receptionist to be part of our team. The successful candidate will be based in Atlanta, Georgia and will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate processing of all incoming calls, ensuring high standards of customer service.
- Efficient handling of daily office tasks such as turning on lights, starting pots of coffee, and maintaining cleanliness in various areas of the office.
- Responsible for opening and closing the office, following a detailed checklist to ensure all tasks are completed.
- Ensuring the copier is fully stocked with paper and ready for use.
- Conducting daily checks on kitchen supplies and replenishing as necessary.
- Managing daily outgoing mail, including stamping and preparing for drop-off.
- Accurately maintaining customer records and resolving customer inquiries as required.
- Utilizing skills such as drafting legal documents, e-Filing, and dictation.
- Assisting other front desk teams as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Must have previous experience in a legal environment- law firm preferred,
- Ability to effectively transcribe dictation is required
- Prior experience as a legal assistant would be beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Proficiency in using office equipment such as photocopier, scanner and printer is necessary
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles is preferred
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices is advantageous
- Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills
- Proven experience of producing documents to a high standard.
